Church On Higher Ground
OUR MINISTRIES
We have many Ministries in the Church as well as outside of the Church and overseas. We have, over the last 3 years, started a Church in Pakistan called "Higher Ground Church and House of Prayer Pakistan". There is a great work being done there by our spiritual son Anoush Yaquob. We have Youth Ministry and Childrens Ministry. We also have Bible Study and Prayer. Men's and Women's Ministry. Higher Ground Church is a multi-cultural, multi-talented, multi-generational Church, with an atmosphere of Love. We are known by our Love for one another.
OUR PASTOR
Senior pastor Evelyn Weber
Pastor Evelyn is the founder of Higher Ground Ministries along with her husband and Church Administrator William Weber.
Pastor Evelyn Attended Elim Bible Institute and Master's Divinity College. She also Has studied Biblical Hebrew and has obtained her credits through the University of Jerusalem. Pastor Weber is also a student of Aramaic. William and Evelyn have four children and ten grandchildren. William is a retired Army Major and teaches JROTC in Stamford Connecticut.
Pastor Weber believes in living a life of holiness before the Lord. Her teachings are in-depth and are emphasized with Prophetic insight relevant for today's world. Pastor Weber moves in the Prophetic and is a Prophetic Intercessor and Teacher. Pastor Weber has been overseas and traveled as part of a Ministry teams to the countries of: Israel, Oman, Bahrain, Egypt, and Turkey. Pastor Weber is a published Writer and is soon to release her newest book.
Pastor William Weber
Pastor William is our Assistant Pastor and he is also our Church Administrator. He is a retired Army Major and teaches JROTC at WestHill High School in Stamford.
He has a unique gifting with the youth.
He along with Pastor Evelyn are the founders of Higher Ground Ministries.
He along with his wife Preaches and teaches the Word Of God. His teachings are in depth and inspirational.
Elder Elaine Flannery
Elder Elaine has been with HGM since the onset and has been a very Faithful servant
to the House Of The Lord.
We are ever grateful to her for her hard work and compassion ,she is excellent in counseling .
PRAYER
Prayer is held every Thursday evening at 7:00pm at the home of Karen and Bobby McDonald. Call Church for directions. 203-748-4890
Our Prayer meetings have been wonderful and very powerful. We have experienced Salvations and Baptisms of the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in tongues.
We are a Church that believes in unity and power.

CHILDRENS CHURCH
Our Sunday School Administrator is Amelia Benitez. Our Sunday School Childrens Church starts at 12:00pm till 1:00pm. Our children are taught the fundamental basics of the Bible, the Word of God. They are given projects that reflect fun and growth at the same time.

George also leads "Defensor" a Youth Soccer Team.
Our Youth do many projects and help in the community in such places as the Food Pantry and Soup Kitchen.
