 " What We Believe"

  • We believe that the Bible is the inspired and only infallible, authoritative Word of God. (2Timothy 3:16-17)

  • We believe that there is one God, existing eternally in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Equal in authority with three distinct personalities and purposes. (“God thought it, Jesus bought it, and the Holy Spirit brought it”).  (1John 5:6-8)

  • We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal return in power and glory. (1Corinthians 15:3-4; 1Peter 2:18-24; John 3:16)

  • We believe in the salvation of lost and sinful man, and that regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential. (Romans 3:21-30; Galations 4:4-7)

  • We believe all believers in the Lord Jesus are entitled to and should earnestly seek and expect the promise from the Father, the Baptism of the Holy Spirit. With this comes the endowment of power for service and life, and the bestowal of gifts for the work of the ministry. This gift is received subsequent to the new birth salvation experience. (Luke 24:49; Acts 1:4-8; 1Corinthians 12:1-31)

  • We believe that the full consummation of the Baptism of believers in the Holy Ghost is evidenced by speaking with other tongues as the Spirit gives utterance, and by the subsequent manifestation of spiritual power in public testimony and service. (Acts 2:4; Acts 10:44-46; Acts 19:2; Acts 1:8; Acts 2:42-43; Matthew 3:11)

  • We believe in water baptism, as taught and demonstrated by Jesus, as the way for believers to identify with the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus. Water baptism is a declaration that a believer has died in Christ to the old man and has been raised with Christ to walk in newness of life. (Romans 6:3-6; Colossians 2:11 – 14; Acts 2:38; Matthew 28:19; Acts 10:47-48)

  • We believe that all Christians need to partake of the communion elements which represent the Lord Jesus’ Body and Blood. It is by participating in the Lord’s Supper that we proclaim His death until His return and remember Him. We also believe in the Ordinance of the washing of feet, a practice of humility that Jesus Himself participated in at the Last Supper. (John 6:53-58; 1Corinthians 11:23-30)

  • We believe in worshipping the Lord in spirit, song, and dance with the raising of our hands. We believe that we are to praise and worship Him with our whole being. (Psalms 150:1; John 4:24)

  • We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost; that they are saved unto the resurrection of life; and that they are lost unto the resurrection of damnation.(John 5:24; John 5:28-29)

  • We believe that deliverance from sickness is provided for in the atonement, and is the privilege of all believers. We have authority over sickness, disease, demons, curses, and every circumstance in life. (Isaiah 53:4; Matthew 8:16-17; Mark 16:18; John 5:6-14; 1Peter 2:24; Luke 10:19; 2 Corinthians 10:4-5)

  • We believe in the imminent return of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. (1Thessolians 4:13-18; Revelations 22:20; John 14:3)
